Meet Ms. S! Hello, I'm Jennifer Swearingen. I am the owner, director and instructor at Bust A Move Dance Academy. During the day I am a kindergarten teacher at Rustburg Elementary School. I graduation in 2013 from Radford University after studying elementary education and dance. I have studied all different styles of dance since I was 7 and I have taught classes since I was 12. I have a true passion for teaching all ages and styles of dance. I am beyond excited that I get to bring dance to our community. My vision is to ignite inquiry, inspire change, and connect people of all ages more deeply through dance.
Madison Lloyd
Madison is our Instructor and one of our most loved team members, well respected by our staff and students alike. Her passion for dance and instilling confidence in their students is a true inspiration.
Ashtyne Fair
Meet Ms. Ashtyne! Originally from Georgia where she danced from age 2.5 until 21. Studied multiple styles of dance like Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical/Contemporary, Modern, Character, Tap, and Clogging. She competed in all styles from age 7 until 19, winning scholarships at conventions to go and dance with professionals in CA. She started assisting dance at the age of 11 and started teaching and choreographing her own classes at the age of 14. Outside of teaching at the studio she runs her own business making all things like t-shirts, tumblers and so much more. In her spare time she likes to be on the water whether it is the lake, river, pool or beach. She enjoys riding ATVS, painting, spending time with family and friends and her two dogs, Aerie and Georgia! If you have been around the studio you have probably met both of the fur babies. The kids love when she brings them to visit!
